The holiday farm "Salella" is surrounded by the enchanting panorama of the Naional Park of Cilento. It is a pleasant refuge in the countryside, situated on a hill green with olive trees, vineyards, chestnuts, and the typical woodlands of Cilento.
It is situated in a very favourable location for those who wish to dedicate time to explore the beatiful Park of Cilento, so rich in legends, the art of antiquity, history and civilized country folk.
The farmhouse, which has been completely restored offers its guests a magnificent view of the natural scenic panorama from their windows.
The 8 double and two single rooms (16 spleeping places) all with private showers and WC, are comfortable and stylishly furnished, and offer tranquility and comfort to the guests during their stay.
In every room there is color TV, telephone and heating system.
Free parking for guests.
The cuisine, which is genuine and tasty, offers the typhical dishes of the mediterranean and Cilento.
These are prepared according to old recipes with genuine sauces, all served by the owners in a beautifully furnished dining room.
Amongst typhical dishes like "leaves and potatoes" made with more than 15 wild green vegetables cooked according to an ancient recipe of Salento, cavatielli (homemade pasta) cocked in the cilentano way, ecc.
From the holiday farm it is possible to buy extra virgin olive oil, local wine and other typical products.
There are facilities for tennis and archery. Also available for hiring are mountain bikes, cars and horse stabling.
We are in agreement with the horse association Chiany Marry.
The beach is 15 km away, from the same distance the archaeological park of Velia can be reached.
With daily excursions it is possible to visit places of nature the Park has to offer: Monte Gelbison, Grotte of Pertosa and Castelcivita, the gorges of the river Calore, the high planes of the Alburni mountains etc.
History lovers and archaeologists can enrich their knowledge by visiting Velia, Paestum, Pompei, Ercolano and the Certosa of Padula.
Salerno, Napoli and Capri are all within easy reach.
Staying at holiday farm "Salella" can also mean tranquil days passed at the seaside, which is only fifteen minutes away by car.
The sea and sands of the Cilento coast (Acciaroli, Pioppi, Casalvelino, Ascea, Palinuro, Camerota) possess an incredible beauty.
Holiday farm "Salella" welcomes guests from April to October, during the holiday seasons of Christmas and Easter and at weekends.
